Today our mom would be 54. In honor of her birthday we are doing all things Vee, listening to old country, working out, and drinking lots of coffee (and beer)!
We wanted to share and reflect on some of the reasons why our mom started Hardcore and why we decided to continue her vision. She was passionate about showing her clients how to live a healthy life regardless of how busy their schedule was. She was a testament to that. Our mom had diabetes from a young age and struggled with her weight for most of our childhood. With her health issues and being a mother of eight she rarely had time to focus on herself. As she started working out she began to slowly drop weight and soon she noticed she had much more energy. Her mission statement speaks to what we like to promote in our program today:
“Everyone’s life is different, but I know that everyone has stress in their life. Whether it be from a career, school, or family responsibilities. I have experience working with clients in all levels of physical fitness, from weekend warrior to serious athlete, and everything in between. With our busy schedules and all our daily responsibilities it makes it difficult to take care of ourselves. I like to focus my attention on my clients and inspire them to reach their goals. I give them the tools to make their lives better.”
The Hardcore community brought so much joy to our mom and she was able to inspire so many to reach their goals, we hope to and strive to do the same with the clients who stuck with us and the new one’s that join us every day. We wanted to take the time today to remember her because she is the reason we started. Your dedication to living a healthy life is the reason we keep going!!! We also share that same joy the HardCore community brought our mom.
Because she was so good at building friendships within her boot camp community our wish for the upcoming year is that we continue to support and build each other up! We are so thankful to our boot camp family for keeping her dream alive!
