If you’re anything like me, there are days you don’t feel like getting out of bed, let alone working out! So you have this internal argument that goes something like this, I know I need to work out but I’m tired, the kids kept me up all night, my boss was impossible today, I’ve been running all week…insert your own excuse. You feel like giving up, but hey at least you”re working out. I can do this. Did I hear something? It will be fun! Are you talking to me? You know how good you feel after getting a good workout! You realize you going to push through it and work your ass off! The last part of this workout is going to be HardCore! It’s at this point that change happens, and everyone is capable of changing for the better. Now stop reading and go workout!
There are so many excuses that get in our way to start a work out program. Don’t allow any obstacles to stop you from bettering your self. Here’s the most common excuses I hear as to why people can’t work out. I will continue to post as to why these are only excuses as time goes on right here in this motivation category. It’s easy to talk ourselves out of working out. It does take time, hard work and determination. The first step is to change your mind and then your body will follow. So don’t believe you can’t accomplish your goals because that’s a lie ! Where there is a will there is a way.
1. I’m too busy
2. I’m too old
3. I’m too fat
4. My back hurts, hip, shoulder and so forth….
5. My kids need me
6. I have arthritis, diabetes, high blood pressure ….
7. It’s to difficult to exercise, I’m out of shape
8.I don’t have to lose weight
10. I can’t do it by myself
The healthiest food choices are located in the outside perimeter of your grocery store. I suggest you choose foods that are all natural and fresh. The less ingredients and the less processed, the better the food is for you. If the food has a short shelf life and can go bad It’s healthier for your body. Eat more vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, meat and fish. These foods will keep you fuller, especially proteins and healthy fats. Your body will thank you for it.
